Praise for this book
This book was incredible and I can't wait for young readers to pick it up
This was a strong start to the Anna Denton series and world. This used the fantasy adventure element that I was wanting and thought it told the environmental element worked overall. The characters had that feel that I was looking for and thought worked well in this universe. Vaughan Hawthorne-Nelson was able to weave a strong tale that I wanted to read more in this universe and whatever comes next.
A great epic adventure.
Anna froze in front of her mother's school, overcome by a bad feeling.
Her mother yelled at her to hurry up…
*******
A great epic adventure/quest that sweeps the reader into an incredible story that happily blends genres (esotericism, ecology, humanism, magic, science fiction, fantasy, adventure…).
I personally really liked the different characters.
I found the reading fascinating, despite sometimes feeling confused as the ideas and events flowed so fast.
I was perplexed by the ending of this story, which ultimately left me with more questions than answers…
I recommend this astonishing young adult novel.
